Dear Santa…

Dear Santa, I don’t want to stress you out too much so I’m writing in advance, hope one month is enough for you to get all the important. I’ve been really good and hardworking girl this year. I got up early every day, went to work, cooked, while responsibly focused on school, helped the weaker and also those stronger ones, took care of my loved ones, gave out love and secretly hoped that you watch everything. Therefore, I dare to be a little less modest and a little more cheeky and write a list of gifts which I desire with all my heart! Except of course the world peace, kids who doesn’t suffer with hunger, rescuing endangered animal species and so forth and so forth… So Santa, if you want me to be so great as this year, try to bring me something from my list under the Christmas tree and motivate me for next year cause I’m out of breath lately… And my dear family members who are watching me here, try to arrange this with him so there will be no mistake. With love your good Alexandra! P.S. In case you have some problems with your eyesight, here…

Vamp it up, girl!

I love autumn, all the leaves everywhere around, woolen hats, big scarves, mugs full of hot drinks, smell of cinnamon and dark lipsticks! The photos are not worth anything because if you don’t take pictures in the morning you have some blurred, dark and weird thing from it but otherwise I can’t say anything bad about this autumn (talking about the weather)! I was looking for some dark lipstick for a while but the colour always looked different on my lips than in the bullet, it was too light, too dark or more in the pink-ish side… Plus I didn’t want to invest too much cause I wasn’t quite sure how often I’ll wear it, respectively if at all. And it seems like I will not take it off this season! In addition, some colour is appropriate to my black-to-grey outfits, right?:) And where did I find my dream shade?

Even Kylie would be proud

There is an one big issue in the world of beauty. Kylie’s Jenner lips. I confess, I love watching Keeping up with the Kardashians and I was always thinking how difficult it has to be to grow up in a family where every woman is so beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, Kylie was a nice little girl, but anything special. And look at her now, she is bloody amazing! I don’t want to discuss if it is a power of make-up or a gentle help of plastic surgery – whatever it is – she looks incredible! Everyone was trying to find out what kind of lip pencil she wears and once she told her secret – the pencil Whirl by MAC was sold out for quite a long period. I found my version which can create bigger lips with natural effect in KIKO in the shade 712, it is super creamy and can be worn also without lipstick and still looks good. But for everyday use I wear the combination of this lip pencil and a nude lipstick, my favourite one at the moment is Maybelline in the shade Tantalizing Taupe 725 or MAC Creme D’Nude . The 90s supermodel…

The Hunt for Foundation

When my trusty L’oreal Lumi Magique Foundation started to running out I went on the online survey through the internet. I looked at all of my favourite beauty blogs, glanced at my list of things that I necessarily need to try and decided for the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation. I went to the Sephora ready to spend lots of money for a small bottle but my rational self was telling me: “take a sample, take a sample”. So I asked for a sample and super excited tried this foundation on. I expected a good dose of hydration and radiant skin but nothing like that happened. And trust me I really wanted to make it work for me. So I was squeezing the last drops of my L’oreal foundation and keep looking on the web. One sunny day I was walking around the Rossman when I came across the foundation in action for 119 CZK. I liked what it promised and thought – foundation for the price of two cup of coffee, would be a crime to leave it there. I wasn’t expecting anything but you know what, I’m hooked! It totally got me! Nice story, right? Let’s take a closer…

Hair talk

Alright guys, lets talk about hair. Because it is something we wear every single day no matter what. I’m not going to give you advices how to take care of your hair because this is a field which I don’t feel like a fish in the ocean and sometimes it affects the quality. But I will tell you which styling products I use to recreate my hair from “that thing I have to live with” to an accessory which I do like to wear and adapt it to my mood, occasion and outfit. I must note in advance that this is not an advertisement for Toni&Guy, I just really like their products and moreover now, when I don’t have to bring them from other countries and can buy them here I can treat myself as much as I want! Believe me, I’ve tried already a lot (I mean a lot) of products and what suits my hair doesn’t have to suit yours but maybe you will find something here what you’ve been searching for.

Girls in a hurry

Oops, it looks like I forgot that I have a blog. So I apologise in advance for my delay I just can’t plan my time lately and should really start to do something with it! I don’t neglect just my blog but for example my hair too. Unfortunately, no one will write a posts instead of me, but talking about hair, there are couple of helpers which can safe you from lack of time or laziness. I really don’t enjoy washing my hair, but no worries I do it (sometimes…). All of you who regularly do something for your body, I mean exercise (which I have to force myself for one hour to do it but that is another story) definitely struggle with daily hair washing. I don’t know about you, but when I work out I sweat and of course I have to seat the most on my head where it is most visible. Washing hair everyday is a big no for me so thank all bright people who invented dry shampoos!!! I’be tried a number of them already, some of them don’t do anything, some of them does but hair looks completely white and it is impossible to…

Hello Pumpkin!

Halloween is around the corner and we are going to host our first Halloween party! And what does belong the most to the Halloween? Of course it’s pumpkin carving! It was actually one of the reasons why I decided to arrange something like this (talking about that party) – one more reason to create Halloween decorations! So today a sneak peak of my 10 kilos pumpkin carving, seems like my arms will hurt for quite a long time after hollowing out the pumpkin…:) What do we need? pumpkin (not sure if you can do it without it) marker knife (I chose a saw knife and for small details I took a penknife) big spoon and patience…

#OctoberMakeUpFavorite

October is almost over (Halloween is coming day by day, Woohoo) and I’ve found few products this month which I really like and would like to share with you. I really enjoy reading similar posts so I decided to include this column to my blog, I know, nothing original but at least I will have a summary of what I liked that month. So let’s dip into it!

Homemade Facial Treat

Lovely Wednesday everyone! The doctor recommend me to stay in bed until the end of this week which means a lot of fun for me.:( My skin looks horrible after three days of blowing my nose and sweating under the blanket in properly heated apartment. I didn’t have any mask at home which could brightened my face so I can feel a little bit like a human again, I can’t go out so I thought to make something by myself. I use spoon of honey and lemon for my sore throat so I improved this combination, added cane sugar and created peeling face mask. Lemon is a natural source of vitamin C, brightens skin tone and works against acne and breakouts. Honey is a natural antioxidant which helps to prevent ageing, locks the water in the skin and leaves it nicely hydrated while fighting against acne. Sugar cleans pores, balances skin tone and as a natural scrub removes dead skin cells. Amazing combo, right?
