Halloween is around the corner and we are going to host our first Halloween party! And what does belong the most to the Halloween? Of course it’s pumpkin carving! It was actually one of the reasons why I decided to arrange something like this (talking about that party) – one more reason to create Halloween decorations! So today a sneak peak of my 10 kilos pumpkin carving, seems like my arms will hurt for quite a long time after hollowing out the pumpkin…:) What do we need? pumpkin (not sure if you can do it without it) marker knife (I chose a saw knife and for small details I took a penknife) big spoon and patience…

Lovely Wednesday everyone! The doctor recommend me to stay in bed until the end of this week which means a lot of fun for me.:( My skin looks horrible after three days of blowing my nose and sweating under the blanket in properly heated apartment. I didn’t have any mask at home which could brightened my face so I can feel a little bit like a human again, I can’t go out so I thought to make something by myself. I use spoon of honey and lemon for my sore throat so I improved this combination, added cane sugar and created peeling face mask. Lemon is a natural source of vitamin C, brightens skin tone and works against acne and breakouts. Honey is a natural antioxidant which helps to prevent ageing, locks the water in the skin and leaves it nicely hydrated while fighting against acne. Sugar cleans pores, balances skin tone and as a natural scrub removes dead skin cells. Amazing combo, right?

Let me tell you, writing a blog without internet connection is not funny at all. It’s been a week since I moved back to the Czech Republic and from that moment I’ve been constantly on the move. All my activities were shrunk into visiting home decor shops, Ikea and cleaning up ( I’ve been unpacking, mopping, unpacking, vacuuming for a week in a row). I’m not complaining, just the internet could be finally connected. Home design is one of the things I do really enjoy and I like browsing websites and posts with that kind of orientation. Finally I got to the cafe with wifi so today only brief article with a few pictures which inspire me and help me to choose the right home accessories and furniture in these “difficult” days. I’m planning to write a post with a little bit if DIY and some pieces from our new home, so next time!
